Choosing
How to read a lash glue's label.
Every professional glue is sold on the same four figures. What each one means, what most makers state, and what ours state.

Dry time
How long you have to seat the lash before the glue grips. Most regular glues state 1 to 2 seconds. Adhesive Pro dries in about 1 second. Adhesive Max sets in 0.5 to 1 second, once the lamp is on.

Working range
The humidity and temperature the glue is made for. Most regular glues state 40 to 60% and 20 to 23 °C. Adhesive Pro works from 40 to 80% and 20 to 30 °C. Adhesive Max works in any. Outside a regular glue's range, change the room first: a humidifier in a dry room, a dehumidifier in a humid one.

Retention
How long a set holds, which makers give as an upper limit. Most regular glues state up to 6 to 8 weeks. Adhesive Pro holds for 7 to 8 weeks and Adhesive Max for 10 to 12.

Shelf life
Two figures: sealed, and once opened. Most regular glues state about 4 weeks once opened. Adhesive Pro keeps for 3 months once opened, or 1 month in daily use.

Two methods
Regular or UV?
Regular glue needs no lamp, for artists who do not use UV LED. UV glue gives the longer-lasting bond and needs a UV LED lamp.

Store lash glue cool, dry and upright, and close it properly. How a bottle is kept decides how long it stays at its best.

Away from sunlight. Keep Adhesive Max away from your lamp's light as well.

Shake before each use
For 30 seconds, cap off, with a nozzle wipe folded over the tip. Shaking mixes the formula.

Close it properly
Wipe the nozzle, squeeze out the air and keep the bottle pressed while the cap goes on.

Both glues keep for 5 months unopened. Adhesive Pro keeps for 3 months once opened, or 1 month in daily use.

What glue is used for lash extensions?
A professional lash extension adhesive: a cyanoacrylate glue made to bond one extension to one natural lash. A regular extension glue sets with the moisture in the air; a UV glue sets when a UV LED lamp shines on it. Both are for trained lash artists.
What lash glue do professionals use?
A professional lash extension adhesive, sold to trained lash artists and not for use at home. Artists choose one by its dry time, by the working range that fits their room, and by its retention. How to read a lash glue's label
Can regular lash glue be used for lash extensions?
Not strip-lash glue: it is made to hold a strip on the skin for a day, not an extension on a lash for weeks. Lash extensions need a professional extension glue, applied by a trained lash artist.
Can you use nail glue for lash extensions?
No. Nail glue is not made for use near the eyes. Lash extensions need a professional lash extension adhesive, applied by a trained lash artist.
Is black or clear lash glue better?
Pick by the look you want. Black glue gives a darker, defined lash line; clear glue disappears at the base, which suits light and coloured extensions. Adhesive Pro is black and Adhesive Max is clear.
What is the difference between lash glue and lash adhesive?
None. The two words are used for the same product. What matters is the kind: glue for strip lashes, or a professional adhesive for lash extensions, which is what Adhesive Pro and Adhesive Max are.
Is lash extension glue safe?
Both glues are professional products, for trained lash artists only. The glue goes on the extension and the natural lash, not on the skin, and the client's eyes stay closed for the set. Both have very low fumes and are latex free and formaldehyde free, their ingredients are listed on this page, and the safety data sheets are available on request.
What is the new trend in eyelash extensions?

What is in them?
Adhesive Pro: ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate, poly alkyl methacrylate, ethoxyethyl cyanoacrylate, carbon black. Adhesive Max: ethyl cyanoacrylate, PMMA, photo-initiators. Both are latex free and formaldehyde free.
Does lash glue expire?
